Our Kids conducts individual and group sessions. 
We offer a full range of services for agencies and institutions.  We train parents, foster-care specialists, educators, social workers, and counselors.

Our Kids trains participants to:

• Master the art of parenting.
• Create healthy family systems.
• Develop affirmative parenting and children-centered skills.
• Take back responsibility.
• Intervene with kids at home, at school, and in the community.

Classes conducted by...

Sophine Charles, PhD
President and Founder

The Powerful Parents training is conducted by Sophine Charles.
She is an accomplished trainer and therapist in the areas of Child and Family Development, Community Health Education and Human Relations, Law Enforcement and Community Relations.

She is a Certified Parent Leader by the Child Welfare Institute, and a Certified Parent Trainer for the International Network for Children and Families. She is a Certified Strategic Learning Systems Trainer and Educational Consultant. Dr. Charles holds degrees in Community Health Education, Counseling and Human Relations, and in  Psychology. She was honored by the National Association of Female Executives for Community Service.  She is the Recipient of a Neighborhood Advocates Award from the Citizens Committee for New York City.
